It gave me such an in depth knowledge and understanding of what's happening in scar healing which has massively enhanced my hands on skills. This course is fantastic for a deeper understanding of scarring; wound healing, scars and adhesions, the considerations for different tissues, and infection. Each module can be completed with a knowledge check at the end, and has really increased my confidence in offering advice to clients, and my own knowledge base on which to do so. The Understanding Scars course was extremely well researched and written with carefully planned sections and content. The videos were well paced and grouped in such a way as to aid short sessions on online learning. This course covered topics in real depth and the relevance of this theory was referenced with very practical examples, this not only helped my understanding and but also the application of this theory as a scar therapist working in clinic.
